『白鯨との戦い』と『白鯨』/ "in the Heart of the Sea" and "Moby Dick"

『白鯨との戦い』と『白鯨』

　この二つに興味が湧いたのは当然のことながらMetal Gear Solid V からです。二つともゲームをプレイした後に触れました。

　映画はとても良いものでした。当時の空気が感じられ、船の仕組みや油の取引など、断片的なものからイメージが湧き、更に入り込んでみたくなる。そんな感覚でした。

　鯨の取り方は全然知らなかったのですが、船で追いかけるのは納得でした。そりゃそうですよね。後半からは極限のサバイバルが描かれ、それに関わる巨大鯨のミステリアスな関わりが、少し和むポイントでした。

　人がどう生きるかは海は答えないので、自分でやっていくしかないということなのか。しかし、海は見ている、みたいな感じ。

　小説『白鯨』は思っていたものとはまるで違いました。ピークォド号に乗り込んだイシュメールがひたすら海の上での生活を描写するもの。最終局面は驚くほどあっけなく『何か』が起こる。そして唐突に終幕。でも、これは人の生き方についての重要な何かであることはわかる。誰の言葉も耳に入らない程に熱中し、そのまま命が燃え尽きても悔いが無い状態。それが必要だってことじゃないかな。

　ちょっと思い出したのが、ロバート・Ａ・ハインラインの『宇宙の戦士』で、こっちもひたすら訓練の話だった気がする。最後に『敵』とみられる何かとの戦闘が描かれるけどすぐに終わってしまったと思う。どこかに同じものを見出したのか。『般若心教』もこんな感じだったのかもね。

Cause is Metal Gear Solid V. I interested in these. I touched these after played over the game. Movie is very good. I felt the their times and air. I imagined from piece of Ship structure, Oil trading. And More deeply interesting was growing up for me. I didn't almost know about the hunt whales. I understood that watch the sailing boat and hunt. It was naturally

After half of the movie. That was story about critical survival. however I feel relieved point of huge whale appeared on mysterious relationship. The Sea never answer the human' lives. Do it selves only. But The Sea watches everything. I felt it.

Novel the "Moby Dick" was different things from my images. Ishmael rides the Pequod. Next is the keep on ship's life and hunt the whales. repeat again and again. Final Sequence appeared the something. and show is over abruptly. but this is the importance of the human's life. I understood may be... Never heard the voices or noises. Heat up even to die. and Never regret. I need it now.

I remembered the novel "Starship Troopers" by Robert A Heinlein. This is keep on training again and again to. The Final sequence was battle with the enemies. but, these were few pages. may be... He might find the same kind of things. I seem to "Hannya Shingyo" similar will.
